Lay Worker's Training
Program Overview
School of Ministry not only exists to provide training for those who sense a call to ministry but to equip lay persons interested in effective ministry within the local church. The Lay Workers track will not only offer instruction but it will also include a Practicum for hands-on experience and mentoring by the local pastor. Here are some of the highlights:
- Biblically based training for every lay worker and church board member
- Consistent with the Assemblies of God “16 Fundamental Truths.”
- Taught by successful, qualified, ministers from across the state
- New innovative techniques and resources for all ministries
- Hands-on Practicum offering on-the-job supervision and mentoring
- Forms relationships with like-minded peers.
